Benias Matiure is a Pan African Economist and Financial Literacy enthusiast. Benias worked in the financial services sector for more than 15 years. His career saw him go through the banking industry, insurance, investments, and the pension funds sector. It is within this space that he developed an extreme passion for the level of financial literacy education the public holds as this evidently had a strong bearing on their welfare and dignity. Benias is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), He holds the CIPM designation from the CFA institute, USA. He holds a Post graduate diploma in Financial Planning from University of The Free State (UFS) in South Africa, A Bachelor of Commerce honours degree in Economics from University of South Africa (UNISA), A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) in South Africa. He is a member of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) and CFA Institute, a global association of investment professionals.
