I'm Rev Cebisa Shobede

Rev Cebisa Shobede was born in KwaZulu Natal in the small town of Eshowe.
He grew up in a Christian family, raised by his grandparents. His grandfather was also a priest in the Church. He is the only child of his mother’s womb.
He started his primary education in KwaMondi Primary school and attended high school at King Zwelithini High School. From primary school to high school he served in the Church as an acolyte. He assisted pastors in church services, conducting liturgy and became an active member of Youth League in the Church
After completing high school, he did agricultural studies with Umfolozi College, and for a number years he worked for private touring companies around Eshowe.
In 2011 he went to do his theological studies at the Lutheran Theological Institute. After completing his studies, he was sent to serve in the Northern Diocese (ELCSA)
