I'm Sally Ann Carter
Sally Ann (Sal) Carter is a third generation South African, born in 1943. She grew up and was educated in Cape Town – finally with a Bachelor of Social Science from UCT. She married David in 1969, then practised as a social worker until she became a full-time mother to three children. On their retirement they bought a farm in Riversdale and, 19 years later, retired again to Hermanus, where they now live and are regularly visited by their three children and six grandchildren. She is addicted to writing courses and writing groups, and has been monitored by allaboutwritingonline for the past four years.
