I'm Lynne Douglas

My name is Lynne Douglas. I am a former Intermediate Phase teacher (4 –7). I taught at Kabega Primary School, Kabega Park, Gqeberha from January 1981 to December 1986 and at St Joseph’s R.C. School, Kabega Park, Gqeberha from January 1987 to December 2017.
I have always been a Grade 4 teacher but have taught other subjects in Grades 3 to 7 as well. I love teaching, but due to family commitments, I decided to take early retirement. It’s a good thing I did, because on the Sunday of the first week of January 2018 my mother, who is now 85, fractured her hip and has never been the same.
We all know that there is a big jump from Grade 3 to Grade 4. It is not easy. The learners are expected to do a lot more learning areas and it can be daunting for both parents and learners.
I decided to launch the School Rocks Range to assist both parents and learners and to ease the workload. I even cover project work.
